Morning everyone. This subject has been beet around the bush a few times already but here we go. I’ve been using a HP ENVY 5640 printer for about 6 years now and it finally went south on me. My local Office Depot closed two years ago and now everything is 50 miles away from me. my question is what printers are my engraver family using theses days and why. I’d like to do some research but just looking at the pictures doesn’t give me the whole picture, get it “sorry” . Thank you for everyone’s help in advance, looking forward to seeing the feed back. Have a Happy and safe Holiday season. Tebo.

Just FYI: The new HP printers that use a 60 series now use a process called “thermal” inkjet & they will not work as a transfer machine. My solution was to purchase a HP4500 just like the one I had before it quit. New it was a $75 purchase. The new price on EBAY was a inflated $300 but ya gotta do what ever it takes,so. If your “working printer” dies ,research that old machine, find a ”new old stock” bite the bullet & pay the & move on.Just my opinion……
