over the years, i have bought many items from this company. they don't sell junk. both input voltages-- that's handy. foot pedal, good also. this unit has all the controls on board to do what you want it to do. to be sure, i'd contact the eastwood co. describe your intended usage, i'm sure they will give you the correct info on the unit. i had a tig unit for awhile. it had a control band i wore on my finger to start the arc. foot pedal is better.
Nope. I barrow a friends for items that I need to do around the property. His has a big Miller in the back of his truck...like bolted there. I don't want something that big or expensive. The welder I buy will be pretty much dedicated to doing metal work for Bits and Spurs applications and the occasional horse area fixes.
