crap, i thought i was the worlds' greatest hawk maker. then you had to come along. now i got to go get a job ! did you weld the bowl onto the head ? that's pretty stuff, you know ? i used to get my jollies making medieval battle weapons. morningstars, maces, really neat stuff to bash in a brain ! all hand forged, fun work ! i made that stuff for realism though, not for pretty. you know, sitting bull or cochise, either one would have traded his wife and 2 or 3 girlfriends for one of these !
hi
thanks for your intrest
i think it was a amethest i did these a while ago
monk i also like everything you like the bowls are screwed in for easy cleaning the handles have deer horn on the end for your mouth thats the only pictures i have i didnt think there would be much interest

yes, although i never made one. but your hawks were just awesome. i've seen a lot of work done on hawks, but never inlay like that. all i ever saw or did was the mor primitive style of work appropriate to the era.

Chris, I don't know how I missed this thread before. I liked your Colts a lot, but these tomahawks are amazing. It must be the Viking blood in my veins. I want one! Where do I send the IOU?
