Curious if anyone has a link or some .pdf or other files with practice images they'd be willing to share. TIA

If you search in this forum you probably find som "practice" files. Remember that Sam A, Phil C and others have posted files for practice.

archive.org is a good source for (mainly old) books on the Acanthus, engraving, monograms and stuff

look up “on-line engraving resources” with Google

Leather patterns and ornamental wood carvings are good sources as well

antiques (engraved boxes, jewlery…) and gun cataloges?

Sam’s engraving videos come with practise patterns.

Drawing or vectorizing a pattern from a picture is already half the fun.

Cheers

In the U. S. we are fortunate enough to have the Dover Publications, Inc books.
Many art books at $4- $10 price range.
They have "Monograms and Decorations" , ISBN-0-486-24347-8, $9.95 when I bought my copy years ago.
Do an Internet search for their name and maybe a catalog.
