Thought I’d share something I stumbled on to. Had a used mijie scope I bought 1o or so years ago and had trouble finding someone to rebuild it for reasonable amount and new one is so expensive. Bought this digital cheapy kids scope on amazon for less than $100 bucks and adapted it to my acrobat stand and I’m loving it! Has plenty of magnification and bout 8” work space depending on how it’s focused and and plenty of light from built in led lamps. Very easy to see on the screen or can be displayed on laptop or computer. It’s just a really handy cheap easy to set up and use way to go instead of thousands for decent scope. I’ll attach pictures but forgive my photography abilities. Also please don’t cretic the plate that’s in there to hard as it’s a really old practice plate from years ago that was handy to grab.

i agree with leonardo. if a scope is used, that usually means the engraver has an eye towars producing quality. with the lack of 3-d, i think one would be better off using an optivisor or some other brand of loupes. the loupes do allow 3-d. it's just at a lower power. jmho. ymmv
