I've been a little fascinated with metal sculpting since I saw Tom Sterlings "SQUID KNIFE" .
The blue fighter gal is about 2-5/8'' from hair to sole and on a "vape mod", an aluminum box for vaping. (If you've ever seen a huge, white cloud emerge from a car at a traffic light ,they're vaping) I wanted to leave the box color on her top and skirt so I was limited to detail in those areas. The plain fighter gal is my practice plate. On both of these I tried to sculpt their biceps, collarbones ,face and hair. I need some practice on their eyes. They are a bit goggle eyed.
The knife is my boys. A Kershaw and very hard to cut. It came out pretty well for me except the scale of the copper inlay fish pole looks about 6 in thick. And the layout just doesn't look quite right.
The border or edges around the sculptings, is that a good way to treat them?
I've been working on my photo skills too. Seems a homemade light box is the answer.
