Hi All,
I'm Lisandros, been reading this forum for a while now but I'm not used to actively participate.
I'm just starting to engrave by sculpting. I would really appreciate some guidance on where to find reading materials, tools, step-by-step tutorials, etc.
This is a sample of my current work ability. Hoping to learn more.

It looks like you have found one of the perfect user materials. Check out your local pawn shop for used knives, good quality used folder knifes can often be bought for 2 - 15 dollar's, I like Kershaw, Case, and Buck in that order. My belief is if you what to practice why not develop your self on something that can be resold. If you go to a local machine shop, scrap yard, big box store just look around, you will see metal screaming engrave me. Box wrenches are fun as they can present convex, concave surfaces. Black iron pipe and fittings can often represent barrels, cylinders. The world of steal is your canvas go have fun developing your drawing and cutting.
