Good morning all,
I looked through the archives didn’t see what I was looking for.
regardless of the main method used, power, air, h&c,push.
how do you achieve the shading? All push work, different tool, and or. ?
thanks,
kent

I like to use a 120° for shading. It takes some finesse, but I like that I can taper from a hair line to a wide finish without having to go too deep.

I just made the jump to litespeed with a Pulse graver. After H&c & push it’s a learning curve trying different angles & heels. It would seem tiny heels are the order of the day.

For the same reasons as V150 I use the Lindsay palm control and the116 made with the template (cause I'm lazy and it's fast and easy.) But I used to use the foot control Artisan and did fine. I think a lot of it is what you get used to and master, for me any way.
