I drew inspiration on this one from a few sources, including a picture I saw on Sam's site. The ring was cast using a CAD model. The CAD model was very basic outline relief of the scroll design and PSI letter. The rest was engraved by hand. Really nice to marry new technology with old world skills.

I thought you might like this one. Time to cad and cast was definitely faster and better than I could do relieving the background by hand.
