I've finished engraving the cylinder of the model 36 I am working on. It's going to be somewhat inspired by the antique revolvers produced by Tiffany & Co. It will take time, but I decided to sculpture engrave it. I will post more images as I go, but here is what I have completed so far. I temporarily "inked" the deep relief background with a water soluble black compound. Ultimately, it will have a proper finish on it.

Thanks guys. It's definitely got me motivated to get the entire pistol finished. I'm trying to give it a somewhat medieval feel. I love the designs on the armor and swords from that era. I'll upload images as I get to milestones in the process, which will take a good while.
