These are a pair I did several years ago. I wanted to make it look like a snake slithered on a spur. The rings
on the tail are loose so when you shake them they sound like a real rattlesnake. The diamonds are inlayed
silver. When you turn the rowel the tongue darts in and out.

That's really a good looking and clever job!
I've been looking at standard, reproduction, and custom spurs and this really does stand out - Very Nice!
I'll give $50 for them right now! :>)

Rod,
I love these spurs.

If you want a pair of spurs for $50, I suggest you get them from C.H. Ina. He's the only spurmaker who can work that cheap.

You are right, again, as usual. Hope all is well with you. I hear you have been real busy.

That's why the smile at the end.
I'm cognizant of the costs of spurs
The smile meant that I was kidding about the cost.
But, like I said, I really liked the design.

Danny C,
I figured you were surely kidding. So were D.C. and I. The K.O. Rea and C.H Ina thing is an old joke among spurmakers. And you are right, Rod's spurs are really cool. I've seen them in person and it's the same old deal---pictures can't do them justice.
