World class!

Did you set stones in the kingfisher pendant?
Thank you...

Yup, 40 in total. 36 moissanites and 4 pink cz's. Trust me though, not the cleanest setting, but ok-ish for a second time setting stones. I didn't choose the easiest material to work with either I guess, hahaha.

For a second time setting stones this look great. Especially in Titanium that is not easy.
If you need stones I can get them for you. Lab dia's are very cheap now. I wouldn't even bother with Moissanite.

And if you have questions about settings just ask me I can give you tips (in Dutch).

I just got me some nice, actual diamonds through a jeweler friend. I will be playing with those very soon. The titanium was....interesting to say the least. But I like challenging myself, so it can only get better in nicer material. I hope, hahaha

Titanium is very springy compared to other metals.

14K and 18K yellow is nice to set. White can vary. The nickel whites can be harder than steel to set.
Platinum is my favorite to set. Very easy to form and easy to cut. But not weak. Silver is also easy but it's weak.
So in silver you have to take care not to use much force or you will damage or slice of the prong.

I have some salvaged 14k yellow set aside for the diamonds. Even if the titanium had been more cooperative, I feel the diamonds deserve a higher value "base" material.
I guess I will find out soon enough, if the gold wants to behave nicely.
All I know is...it is alot harder than it looks. Setting stones that is
