I called Grs about the numn fingers from stippleng and J.B. Taylor suggeasted a cover for the Monark and other tools that will solve the problem It is part number 004-368 cost $ 3.60
tubing used for fuel lines in remote control airplanes works well also. it comes in various diameters that are different colors so i can color-code my gravers, squares are orange, 120's yellow ,etc. makes switching up real easy

The problem of stippling is that over a period of time the nerves become damaged from the vibration, High density rubber transmits the vibration . You need a low density rubber to take up the shock .airplane tubing won,t help.GRS has a special rubber for stippling.
