South Sea Pearl Pendant

This is a pendant I made for a competition in Australia. It was to design a piece around a south sea pearl. I ended making it out of platinum and 18ct yellow gold, I wanted to engraving to be more of a texture, like water around the pearl.

It was a little challenging to engrave into a concave surface, and looking back, I can always see areas I would like to improve.
I don't post often, but appreciate all the information and experience that is shared on here.
