Whelp, I finally got a Lindsey classic and have been doing some serious practice. I have been working on getting the garage cleaned out to set up a good work space, but have been set up in the kitchen corner so far.
So, just a reminder to anyone else set up temporarily in the kitchen, or anywhere inside the house, no matter how well you sweep and clean up afterwards, and no matter how many times you tell your fiancé to wear shoes in thy area just incase, the said fiancé will manage to find a bur with their foot. And said workspace with closed until further notice.

Im in the computer /crafts/gun room of the house. I hear chips leaving my area . Im waiting to be escorted out of the area. I have moved soldering station out to the garage. If I get escorted out I will bolt the doors and mancave it shall be.

That is why I wear a shop apron while engraving. When I get off the stool, I pick up the corners of the apron then dump the chips into a trash can. The apron also prevents chips from getting embedded in my clothes. When you get chips embedded in your clothes they rust after the clothes are washed. When the cops see the rust spots they will think you were shot with a load of bird shot and take you to the hospital. When the hospital finds that you weren't shot they will charge you with Obabacare fraud and you will go to jail. Don't end up in jail. Wear an apron.

My wife doesn't go near my studio, for the chip reason, fusses at me for bringing them into the rest of the house (I wear an apron) and has "given" me the spare bedroom for my new studio. I have a special lock on the door to keep unsuspecting people out and it seems to work....so far!
