Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Amos at a trip hammer re-build school in Nebraska City NE; taught by Harlan "Sid" Suedmeier, Mayer Bros, Little Giant Power Hammers. Chris works for Ed Fowler in his studio in Riverton WY. Well, after a few adult beverages and some lies, we got to be pretty good friends. Here is the second project I have done for Chris. He calls this: The Beast, its 14.5 inches nose to tail and is heavier than I'd want to carry. Unless there were dragons and I was named Bilbo. If you subscribe to Blade magazine, you have seen this knife in Ed's "Sheath How-to-Step-By-Step" articles. It is pictured unfinished in all the articles to date, hopefully we got the finished, engraved photos in on time for the final article. Also have some other projects going for Chris that will be at the Blade Show coming up. Enjoy!
