Something that's not been mentioned are Flash sites. This is strictly a matter of personal preference, but I'm getting to the point where I dispise all-Flash websites.

but like the fact that users can not download images from Flash. You can script a page to block image downloads in HTML but it is buggy from one browser to the next.
Not quite. The flash is stored in your temp folder, and there are flash to avi and other freeware programs out there. Also, you can always do a screen capture and grab the flash still images.

It does make it very difficult for the average user to snatch the pix, but it doesn't prevent it. Just like there are workarounds to disabling right click or disabling view source.

Basically, if it's that critical, don't post it on the web...period. Anything that appears on anyone's monitor is relatively simple to capture. Flash does make it more difficult, though.
