I've been looking for pencil drawings just for practice and found this:http://www.quarterdesigns.com/updates.html

Just thought it might help someone like me that's just starting out.

I found this site while looking for good pencil drawings of American Bison, If anyone has the where abouts of such drawings please let me know.

I have been trying to engrave the new Montana Quarter with buffalo skull and find this one very interesting. You can see very clearly how they shaded it with pencil lines and studying it has helped me. Hope it helps someone else

I really enjoy this forum , and finally I am able to help . I pull up pencil drawings on E-Bay and save the pic's for future reference . Most of the time they have several pages to look at . I have sold a few Hobo Nickels on E-Bay and have learned a lot here . Billzach got me started and I really enjoy it , but I am mostly into schrimshaw now .PHILLIP ----------------------------seller name on E-Bay is CAR-VER
