On my morning walk I looked down in a yard near the river and saw for the second time a white goose with four Canada geese could this white goose be an albino Canada goose? J.J.

Mitch must be an expert on bear survival as many bears as he gets in his yard.
There are a %$#&load of bears in the Asheville area and my house is right on the boundary between two neighborhoods with a busy-ish street behind me. Mine is the only unfenced backyard on the block and it's right by the access into the other neighborhood, so over the years the wildlife- bears, deer, the local turkey flock, etc. -have learned they can cut thru my yard to migrate between the two developments.

As for survival tips, everybody just pretty much leaves them alone, gives 'em a little space, and we all get along just fine. :)
