Forgive me Deb but I'm easily confused, you say your problem is a lack of creativity and that you have made efforts to 'improve' it from 1994? May I ask what efforts? Are you talking about 'how to' engraving classes?
I always knew I would be a hobbiest. But I do believe anyone can learn to engrave to a certain level, determined by their desire and practice. Some will attain a higher level than others, some will get to their level easier and faster....
Anyone can learn how... I envy the doers, those that put in the hours and succeed.
