How Big Do one Normally engrave this, A monogram for a Lighter, or pendant, or What?

I#m with Andrew, engrave it. As to your question, do one small, and then do one large. Yoü will learn both wazs.
Can zou tell I am tzping on a German kezboard?

Yes, this is ready for engraving. Nice job, Chris. There are no size limitations with leaf script. As small or large as you wish, but I ususally do larger sizes so the detail can be appreciated.

Argh. I'm still learning to simply draw the stupid leaves in a pleasing way, much less arrange them as LETTERS! Beautiful drawings.

do a jds on a 2x3 " sterling belt buckle with a 1.5" d-ring. mail it to me and i'll tell you if i like it !

One small bit of advice. When you engrave it whatever you do don't relieve all the background, say in a circle around it on a plate 3" square. Remember that brass one I did that said "DS" on it?

I semi deep relieved it and blackened it starting when my kid was learning his ABC's, by the time I finished the background he was big enough to drive my John Deere across the field. Took Way too looooong.
