I do a lot of custom casting and manufacturing, both retail and to the trade. I only have one client that asks for palladium white gold. I have no idea why he likes it. The nickle alloy is whiter.

From what I understand ALA is for volume users now, but anything that is in the ALA library is available through Overnight.
I don't understand why there would be a problem with white gold if you order palladium white gold. There are 100's of casting company's out there. You shouldn't have any problem finding an array of blank mountings. Palladium white is great for customers that are nickel sensitive. I don't run into very often but I do once and a while. It's also great for heads especially for swimmers and hot tub users. Chlorine can be very damaging to high nickel content white gold.
