Question: What is your favorite way to start your scrolls

Hello everyone. I am just curious as to what is your favorite way to start scrolls is.

The one that best suits the style and design of the scrollwork being used.

I guess a better way to ask is wood you rather come in from the border, a screw hole or some sort of starter scroll

for me, there is no pat answer. it all depends on the size/shape of the object. is a monogram , an animal, or some other design to be placed into a panel ? some of the answer comes from the customer-- what they absolutely want included on the piece.
