Friend sent me this. it is a screen shot from a video he watched. He said it was all in Spanish so he couldn't really make heads or tails but I really like this lettering!! Does it have a technical name?
I would really like to learn more about it.

Looks quite a bit like a 'style' I saw in my one Bergling book. Sometime, these styles don't have a specific name, and flourishes are added as you go. I see some at the point of unreadability, and, to me, those are useless if you can't interpret them. I have a graphics book with maybe a thousand different fonts, and most of them I wouldn't do. Your photo is of a readable letter, and I probably wouldn't go much beyond that. The artist is his/her own boss, so I guess anything goes.

if you have trouble drawing this, get the bergling book. or go to font bros.com as ron said, once you draw the basic letter shape, you can add your own sparklies on the fly i saw one of his videos, the man is very good at what he does.

Drawing a single letter or even three letters for a monogram is hard enough but trying to design an entire font is quit an undertaking. Good luck. Fred

It's basically a monogram style.

Generally it doesn't have a name as such but if you look in all the old monogram/cypher books you'll see a lot of similar types of lettering.

Cheers
