some engraving...not sure what the name of this border is I was going to call it the casino,,,i have seen a few different guys do it,

It's a variation on a "bead" border. The whole thing looks very nicely done, thanks for sharing it.

It is sometimes called "ball and bar." Usually, the bar part will have an L shaped shadow line inside.

The picture below is a Browning Superposed engraved by Pierre Dom using the ball and bar border.
