Well Kansas is now on mandatory stay at home orders which changes nothing for me been practicing for this nearly 20 years. I finished up the most expensive 250 dollar shotgun in Kansas. 1897 Winchester I actually told the customer that when he talked to me about the job did not deter him. This was a used up trap grade black diamond. Charcoal blued the frame and rust blued the rest.
Marty had a great idea for this thread come on people show us what your doing. I know Marty and ZZ and others set the bar pretty high but more people have to be working don't be shy.

Looks real good Leland Now that you are staying home you will be doing more engraving to combat the cabin fever. But don't forget to step outside and get some fresh air a few times a day.
I don't know about setting the bar pretty high here. i know people are doing whatever engraving be it practice plates of regular "real" work. So I just thought this would be a good avenue for everyone no matter what ability level to just keep in touch through our work. Like you said, don't be shy

Marty, thanks for the comments. Yes I have several small jobs, knives, spurs I have been putting off started on them yesterday. I finished a lettering job that I was dreading,I hate lettering. There are several more big jobs in the safe now, full restorations with engraving. Where I live social distancing is easy 9 miles to the nearest town where you can buy things.
JMiller the 94 looks good i don't know when it was made but you know some can't be hot blued right. Rust blue it you can do it yourself with minimal equipment.
Dave, thanks for posting your revolver. We want to see the finished product when you can.
Mattymo, I really like the flow of your scroll, can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Adder,SamW,Very nice progress the end results will be fun to see.
Thanks to all and stay safe,Leland

Thanks, It’s pre-64... early 60’s. Have thought about doing myself, under the circumstances with a little more spare time on hand I think I will.
