gerade habe ich nicht viel Zeit zum Schreiben - nur soviel - ich wohne und arbeite in der Nähe von Waiblingen bei Stuttgart. Und Ettlingen ist mir von früher nicht unbekannt - die Töpferin Eva Leonhard war eine Freundin meiner Eltern - leider lebt sie schon länger nicht mehr.

hey Sam! I was wondering if you could help clarify on the raised inlay comment you had on one of these posts saying you form and shape the metal in steel before applying the gold so the gold is at a uniform hight and none of the steel sticks through. your saying you sculpt the animal in steel first so the gold takes on the shape of the sculpted steel below, and then sticks to the teeth? thank you very much

I am a bit hesitant since it is 18Ga - I use fine silver and occasionally sterling for creating enamelled things and 18ga is just a touch too thin for champleve technique I prefer. I am trying to think what I would do with it . What's your best price shipped to Canada (postal code: K0K 3N0).

the info about your hubby was quite interesting. my tremors, head and hand, were on regardless of position. they would cease during sleep. when i first went to my family doc, he suspected essential, but also warned of possible parkinsonism. thankfully the tremors were essential.

i have several brass fonts i can sell. also, i would not spend much more than 200 to 300 us bucks on such a machine.

I don’t know yet if there is fonts with it and I think I will use it more for logo and basic embellishments than text but I will keep your offer in mind, I’m going to see it today and the auction end April 29th. If I get it and you still want to explain me how to do my own templates that would be very appreciated. Thanks for your time and sharing your knowledge, it is very helpful!

By the way what type of engraving are you doing? Are you more into the hand engraving of firearms and such or more industrial/commercial?
