Am I using the correct gravers. How do I make the eyes look more realistic. Should I cut the eyes deeper and then paint all the bulino I have ever seen is from photos only. And is this the beginnings of bulino or is this closer to banknote . all the knowledge that I have from Engraving is what I have found from the internet. Should I take a corse to learn this if so from who. And if I do take a corse should it be a beginner or entertainment.
i'd suggest that you do your practice on useful, saleable items. pendants, fobs and such. i think you'll be able to sell your skill. i have never tried this technique, so have no info that would answer your questions. i think in due time, you will do well on your own, without formal instruction. having said that, i'm not discouraging taking more formal training. i wish you the best in your pursuit.
