    I had a visiting student who brought a dog with them. I loved the visit. But when it was time for them to leave the poor little dog was limping. Had to dig a metal splinter out from between his toes, with the help tweezers.

    To muffle the sound when needed I use a small rawhide hammer. Give it a try, maybe you will like it too.

    Other than bulino work, and with a good gun plater ,almost nothing should be lost. But beware of pre-plating polishers wiping out your detail. Search the forum for info on knowledgeable and reliable gun platers.

    It can be done with round, square, rectangular, strip or sheet gold. A great piece of work and wonderful and unusual outlining of the gold inlay.

    Junair Air Compressor help

    Thanks Michael, I failed to say that I also drill a couple of small vent holes in the cap of the bottle to release the pressure when draining the tank. And hold a shop cloth over the cap/hose area while venting the tank.
