    Mr. Dave , my master plumber took 8, 5 for school 3 for journeyman experience prior to testing. That's Michigan tho, others might be easier........got mine in 81 and dropped it 03. Rob

    I will do that John, one must draw every day, if this is not done, how very little it might be, I loose some of it. Now that I am doing Sam's dvd's I only have to master about 4 elements, and I am on the way as we speak/write, will be posting soon, thanks for your reponse and thoughtful...

    Hay....I forgot John, I did use ngraver template for the backbones, it's the only way I can get a good one. I'll probably continue with that, if I don't it takes me about 40 minutes to do 1 backbone. pap

    thanks Mr. John.....I don't know how I got to the point I'm at now. I've been monkeying with this since 2015 and I think now, that the styles of other engravers, pictures and the inability to keep on track had a considerable role in my artistic blitherings, will perserver. pap
