    It's selectively anodized after engraving/carving.

    Ti practice material

    Commercially pure is Grade 2, relatively soft...most knife scales use Grade 5 (6Al4V). It tends to be harder and can work harden easily but I've had no real issues with nice sharp tooling:thumbsup:
