Hello to everyone,

Let me begin by saying that I've been lurking here for several weeks now and have greatly enjoyed the atmosphere. I have particularly enjoyed thefriendly advice and help so freely given by all of you. I have also been soaking up all of the different tips offered here, quite a wealth of knowledge, experience and information.

I am a jewelry engraver by trade, but I have been known to do the occassional musical instrument, longrifle patch box, Zippo lighter and other oddities. By way of introduction I have included ( I hope ) a couple of pictures of some recent projects.

WOW Gil! Been there done that, and it is interesting and challenging work. I enjoyed doing them. Did a bunch years ago. The tiny lettering is very good. Hard to do that small, that accurate. Used to have a ring I wore years ago that had reverse relief coat of arms. Got a lot of work from it.

Anyway, welcome to the forum! Excellent work!.....................Ron S
