Here are images of my brass Bottega Incisioni di Cesare Giovanelli Indian buffalo belt buckle. This was my father's who has passed several years ago.
The belt buckle brass has black ink rubbed into the engraving, then a clear lacquer coating applied to both sides.
This is 3" wide by 1-7/8" tall by 1/16" thick. The mass is 55.4 grams.
This is new and unused.
It looks to me from the signature format that this might have been by the artist, Cesare Giovanelli, instead of by his students.
My guess is this was done in the 1980's.
Is there any feedback on this belt buckle or the artist? Thank you!
