The A.B.C. of Modern Engraving by William Kassell (Copyright 1943 by The Jeweler's Circular-Keystone)
Instructions on Letter Engraving using close-lined technique. Good instructions and illustrations.
Instructions in Letter Engraving - The Art Simplified and Made Easy of Acquirement by Kennedy Gray (The Watchmaker and Metalworker Press 1885) Long on text and short of illustration. Seven Plates of smoke pull from real engravings.
