I wish the new people who are interested in becoming an engraver should get on the two forums and ask question before buying any engraving tools,we make the best. J.J.
Of course, it is not always possible to buy expensive tools, but buying a fake one is not the solution also. Buying fakes (not only GRS) means creating demand for low-quality goods, produced by unfair people. Ultimately, it kills reliable producers of quality tools. The only decent solution I see when there is not enough money is to buy used equipment on Ebay. But be careful, I have heard of cases where counterfeit equipment was sold as the original. Ask in advance for videos, photos and technical documentation, and carefully compare it with the original.
I think it’s not exit to buy cheap and counterfeit tool, it is obvious that you will come to the conclusion that you cannot work on such equipment, because the quality the fake manufacturers provide is very very low.
