A couple of threads of late have addressed drawing. Julia J. gave very good pointers on drawing. I have considered for some time the need of a drawing class for engravers.
Those that are identified by their peers as artists apply basic principles and techniques intuitively and with further training and experience can become very good at drawing. Those who classify themselves as artistically challenged, by instruction from an experienced instructor, can apply the very same principles and techniques and greatly improve their drawing and seeing abilities. It is with this need in mind that I am considering teaching a drawing class later this year in the infamous garage with all of it's wonderful amenities-concrete floor, hard chairs, pencil sharpener, ventilation provided by doors open on both ends, and my undivided attention and best efforts to help you learn how to see and draw.
