I appreciate your advice. This would be my second bench so space should be fine.i built my own years ago. the one you show wouldn't hold even 1/10th of all the tools i have developed a need for. this may work for those using limited space but i alway tell people to build a bench at least twice the size you think you will need. your tool collection will likely outgrow a bench such as you show. this is just my experience. ymmv
I’m thinking 5x15x15 would work.Just make it big and wide I took measurements off one like the one you showed I now have a tool chest on each side of my chair where I keep most of my things. The chests are on wheels
I agree 100 percent monk, I found 2 desks each has a lower shelf for a keyboard and removed it to allow my vise and stand and I'm still out of roomi built my own years ago. the one you show wouldn't hold even 1/10th of all the tools i have developed a need for. this may work for those using limited space but i alway tell people to build a bench at least twice the size you think you will need. your tool collection will likely outgrow a bench such as you show. this is just my experience. ymmv
thank you!Sebastian, I measured my cut out on the bench I built and use it is 8 inches at the deepest point and 24 inches wide. It works for me but your mileage may differ.
