Just finish this and thought I'd post it. I know it's not an engraving but there is a lot of graver work that goes into pave' setting. This ring has 33 diamonds set into it.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Mike.

Stunning ring. Just beautiful.

While I was at the Grand Masters, Shane from GRS kindly showed me some basic stone setting. Up till that point I didn't know a thing about how it was done or the techniques used. It makes you look at this sort of work and truly appreciate the skill that it takes to make something look that good.

Beautiful

Cheers
Andrew

Those are both some fine looking work. I've been learning to make jewelry recently myself. So far I have been working with sterling and setting cabochons by making bezels. I can fully appreciate the skills it takes to do pave setting and do work like is posted in this thread.

Thanks,
Peter

Thankfully, the pedant is already sold. All it needs is the under bezel and the chain. Glad you like.

Thanks to all for the kind words. Pave' can be one of the more demanding style of setting, but it's so worth it when it's done. It's fun to look at.

autumnwinds44: The Diamonds are .02ct each
Jim: Very nice piercing and setting beautiful millgrained edges.
tincanart: On this piece I only rhodiumed the top. If it would have been a bigger project I my have used white gold, but I'm liking palladium.

Thanks Mike,
The Jewellery engraving and setting section, stands proud to be a part of the forum.
I would like to see the rest of the jeweller & setters show their gold more often.
