If anyone has read any of my previous posts, I've been away from engraving for the past 12 years, trying to get myself back to where I was then. I thought I'd post a pic of a test plate for bulino, wouldn't mind a bit of critique. Hope I've got the size right this time, always looks bigger on my PC.

Hey Degs, I know the feeling. I was off for 27 years before starting back up a couple of years ago. The mind knows what it wan'ts to do but somehow the hand isn't there. Looks like you are handling the learn over curve quite well.

Looks good Degs. The anatomy is excellent. How big is the plate. If I may ask why did you stop engraving. If it's not to personal.

Could get this old guy up to speed in a hurry.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement guys.
I stopped engraving after having too many eggs in one basket, lucrative work from a couple of companies that went under, I was offered a job doing something completely different to see me over the rough patch, just got used to the regular income, before I knew it, 12 years??????? I'm broke again, but at least I'm back doing what I enjoy.
And John, behave yourself........!!!
