I'm buying a old gravermeister the 1200. Comes with the basic handpiece. But looking into the 915 or the large one. What would you recommend. Also thinking of seeing if grs still has the speed upgrade if I go with the 915 handpiece. Last question does anyone have a 915 or large. Thanks

Call GRS and talk to them. They will help, I am sure. Mine was purchased in the early 70's I up graded it by talking to them. That could be as late as 1990. I took a class in 2010 and took it with me, They made it like run new. It is still going strong.

I would get the 900 series handpiece for sure.
But honesty, I would put that money toward a Gravermax, Graversmith, etc, as opposed to the old Gravermeister. They were good machines back in the day but can't hold a candle to modern machines.

I have a andu it's like a lindsay. And also a Chinese ebay gravermax. I want to get a grs but it's hard to find one for a decent price that I can afford. I can get the gravermeister for $150 plus shipping. With original hand piece

Absolutely. There are many thousands of original Gravermax machines that are in use around the world and have been for decades. You just can't kill one.
All older machine may require are new hoses. But that is an easy fix.
Take pictures before pulling the old ones out...! Better replace them one by one.
