GRS Microblock uneven friction

I recently bout a GRS Microblock. When i add a little friction to te rotation it works good but only on around 180° the other 180° rotate still free as if the lock screw was not tightened.

Is this normal, that the friction on the rotation is not even on tho hole rotation?

Where did you buy your GRS Microblock?

Artsupport is an excellent company and I'm sure they can help you sort it out. If not, email GRS and they'll assist you.

I don't use the Microblock, but I don't think this is not normal.

Sorry for your problem.
Sounds as if the center shaft and hole are not on true center.
Are you sure it's a genuine GRS product, or could it be a knock-off ???

Sorry for my post.
The post that it was purchased from Artsupport came in while I was typing (slowly).
I'm sure Artsupport and GRS will make it right.

Thank you for your very fast responses.
I sent the vise already back for a check. They could not find any problem. As soon i get it back, i will check it again and report here.

Until now i was always satisfied with the support from Artsupport and im shure i will be this time too.

I just became unsure if it was normal. Maybe the transport solved the problem.
We will see...
