Phil the shadows on the gold at different angles tell me it sits quite high. I noticed when people see any engraving one of the first things they do is touch and rub it. With the raised gold and mile deep relief, your work must be a treat not only to see but, to feel as well.

It is quite proud of the surface which as it's advantages and dis-advantages as it has to be handled carefully by not puting it down on something that could mark it....but that goes without saying with a gun of this price!
