one area i think could be improved-- the negative areas inside the scroll, i'd use a suitably sized flat to level the areas. easy to do using (at least for me) chisel out as much as you can, then use a wriggling technique to even it out. then you could punch dot or stipple.

Yes, thanks. That's what I am planning to do, I have a lot more work to do on this. At this point I am just back to where I was before I decided to fix all the major errors. Next, finish the shading and then the back ground.
