But if it’s just to test the design, just some plastercine will do you.
If it’s to preserve and immortalized the disigh it will be hot wax.. guessing you make your own.
Drip some sealing wax in heat resis rant container (tin?) and away you go.

no foto here. hot melt glue will also take the tiniest details. release with isopropyl alkyhaul

Ya. I like to see, sometimes I flip a bracelet to sign the back and get a nice inversion of the carving... I use alcohol, but often struggle to get it to release... do you make some sort of vent to get the alcohol in there?
yes. i cut criss cross grooves all over the plate. this not only aids in the glue forming a good anchor, the grooves allow the alcohol to penetrate much faster for a very easy release. send me yer mailing address and dimensions of what you want. i'll send you a piece.

For hot glue you can also put it in the freezer for a bit pops right out. Yes put a divet or channel to insert a wooden or plastic pry point.
