Hi pals.
A friend bought an old pair of horse spurs.
One chain is missing and he ask me to reproduce it.
My problem is the method to "braid" these model of chain.
Anyone have some info about it? or info about some place or forum to get some clue?
Thank you all in advance.
Alberto.

These look like they are from South America,Argentina to be more specific. There are several silversmiths from there that have FB pages and I am sure you might have better luck there. I can give you a link for the Silversmithing school in Olavarria if you want.

Hi Silverchip, thank you very much for your quick answer!
Yes, Im in Uruguay but it is Argentinian.
I post in a knife and silver forum some days ago but they dont authorize my post yet.
I would really appreciate the link for the link for the Silversmithing school in Alovarria.
I will ask there then tell you about their response.
Best regards.

Thanks Silverchip and Marrinan. Im looking now for JUMP RING chain and find more info!! I will ask in the Escuela Municipal De Orfebreria Olavarria for some more data.
I "isolate" one link of the chain and get this... its some kind of "8" twisted, isnt it?
