The Frame is fine, the cylinder isn’t too bad (they are harder then the frame), the barrels are a lot harder and you must sharpen your tools frequently.

yours looks very nice. i must agree with dave. i did a s&w 44 mag early in my engraving attempts. half way thru i was stumped. i ended up talking with lynton mckenzie. he advized me to not do ss guns. needless to say, this experience taught me proper sharpening techniques.
