I just finished this for one myself. My father, a very talented woodworker, made a solid oak magazine rack as a wedding gift for my wife and I. Hopefully, it will become a family heirloom and I want to make sure that whomever has it in the future knows where it came from.

From top to bottom, the space is about 1.25 inches and was cut with a 120' graver. Please feel free to share your thoughts.

Well done, David.
The plate looks great, like all your work.
Hope to see you and Darcy in Reno.
Best wishes to the old married couple.
John.

David: Your script looks really well cut. I'd like to see you angle your plate differently for a photo. Also, try to shoot the plate reflecting a white surface (cloudy sky maybe). I admire nice script lettering, and this looks excellent. / ~Sam

Hi John, thank you very much. Darcy says hello and we'll see you there.

Thank you Sam, I have a love hate relationship with lettering. It's the thing that stresses me out the most, but I love the way it looks when it's done right. I'll try and get some different shots later on. My home made light box is still under construction.
