I’m putting some new skills to the test, including Flare Cutting and Shading techniques. I made a sample knife scale insert for my son in law, who makes them. There are some things that need adjusting but I need to start somewhere. I guess this would this fall under, Knife, Flair Cut, and Shading category? I’m not sure what the “Tags” box is for near the bottom of the Post thread page?

Thank you

I had never touched a graver until just over 3 years ago when I received my Steve Lindsey PalmControl, with Classic AirGrave. It is still the only graver I have. I used a flat graver for any Flare type cutting and a 96 deg. Uniform Parallel Point for most other things. I’m still experimenting so you may see me switching around at times.
