Bella at her post as my apprentice right before she lead me astray. She convinced me we needed to go find some quail, I'm easily distracted. How many of you have working companion helping in the shop? Let's see some pics.

I rent space from my 5 Pekingese pups. I have to be careful and give fair warning when I move my chair so I don't run over any tails or feet.

Floyd, my Yellow Nape Amazon parrot stays in his cage out in the living room. He and the dogs don't play nice.

i haven't had a dog for over a year and i still catch myself checking that. probably will for the rest of my life.

on a related note, Bailey, my first Jack Russell Terrier (of an eventual pack of six) had a habit of jumping into my lap WHILE I WAS ENGRAVING. that'll teach you to expect the unexpected.

Do any of you have issues with dogs picking up metal shards in their paws?
I had a visiting student who brought a dog with them. I loved the visit.
But when it was time for them to leave the poor little dog was limping.
Had to dig a metal splinter out from between his toes, with the help tweezers.
