Roger, we were dressed like that for a birthday party. Sure it was amusing seeing everyone dressed like this.
The only thing, Lola had to pay for the rented dress, as it was new when she left, but ruined after we went home, but it was worth the money thats for sure
I really enjoy this thread idea, it puts humanity up front! Thank you to all who are posting.
There are so many excellent and revealing shots here, it would be hard to choose favourites, but Marcus and his dad going head to head is memorable! Seems that many of us like to pick a tune, when we are not hammering and chiseling.
Here are a few very old, and not so old, photos of me in the Arctic, at work, at play, and with my wife on our daughter's wedding day ....
OK, so here is the rest of the story (avatar that is) for those who have not seen the latest The Engraver. I had to build this myself...don't have a nephew I would have trusted with the job! I was 14 when I bought the truck and yes, that was a long long time ago and I only finished it about...well, there still are a few things to do.

Very privilaged to be in this room! It's the echo chamber for Abbey Road's studio two, all the great sounds from all the great bands came into this room before getting mixed to tape.
Abbey Road, Studio Two's control room, this is where it was ALL done!
